Fabian Kornecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sorin Manciu in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, FC Inter Sibiu's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Gogu came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Liviu Gogu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Kornecki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Melis's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. FC Inter Sibiu's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Gogu in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Delphine Stars's Ferdinand Hohenzollern got a free kick in the 19th minute. Fabian Kornecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Melis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Gică Costandache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucrețiu Hrib could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Fabian Kornecki made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Gogu in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Sosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastián Sosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Ştirbu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosme Cruz in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Sosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Melis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Fabian Kornecki made a huge save. FC Inter Sibiu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucrețiu Hrib in the 42nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Lucrețiu Hrib got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabian Kornecki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Melis was the one to do the kick off. Fabian Kornecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Manciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Fabian Kornecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Melis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delphine Stars's Fabian Kornecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Melis in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Delphine Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Melis came free, but Fabian Kornecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 played minutes FC Inter Sibiu got a freekick which was hit by Lucrețiu Hrib. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Costandache in the 75th minute of play forced Delphine Stars's goalkeeper Fabian Kornecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Kornecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Melis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pompiliu Cordescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delphine Stars's Fabian Kornecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Melis in the 86th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Frank Melis put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabian Kornecki. FC Inter Sibiu's Dragoş Bitang was substituted for Pompiliu Cordescu. Fabian Kornecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Bitang in the 94th minute of the match. FC Inter Sibiu were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Delphine Stars's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucrețiu Hrib took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Inter Sibiu's corner Dragoş Bitang fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabian Kornecki quite easily take care of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Delphine Stars players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Inter Sibiu.
