FC Inter Sibiu's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Borcz in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Jaime Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DINAMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Inter Sibiu the free kick. The supporters of FC Inter Sibiu booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Agârbiceanu to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Frank Melis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ysmael Marfil to make any attempt to save it. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xander-Paul De Coster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Ivan Moșanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ysmael Marfil was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Melis came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pompiliu Cordescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Duro Miner got a free kick in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Pompiliu Cordescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Ysmael Marfil however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gică Costandache in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ysmael Marfil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, FC Inter Sibiu's Frank Melis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ysmael Marfil. Ysmael Marfil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. With his leg Ysmael Marfil managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when FC Inter Sibiu's Frank Melis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邓真傲 in the 46th minute of play forced FC Inter Sibiu's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 邓真傲 to make the kick off. The supporters of DINAMO booed when FC Inter Sibiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Lipan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moise Vlădean struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Sebastián Sosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DINAMO. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Melis in the 57th minute of the match. Pompiliu Cordescu scored 4-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ysmael Marfil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Costandache in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, FC Inter Sibiu's Frank Melis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ysmael Marfil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xander-Paul De Coster in the 72nd minute of play. Ysmael Marfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Melis, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Costandache came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Kajetan Madajczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ysmael Marfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Costandache, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Dorin Agârbiceanu fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DINAMO's protests and gave Dorin Agârbiceanu a yellow card for diving instead. Dorin Agârbiceanu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Frank Melis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ysmael Marfil having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Traian Stoiculescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Inter Sibiu had played much better football throughout.
