The throw-in from Horaţiu Hogaș in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dacians Academy's Remus Armeanca. A collision led to Cavalerii Viola getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ovidiu Poenaru hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Ovidiu Poenaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cavalerii Viola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cavalerii Viola's Vintilă Adam pulled a muscle in his leg after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Cavalerii Viola booed when Dacians Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Panciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sérgio Oliviero got free with Stelian Butuc in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Virgill van Dijk kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Stelian Butuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Dei, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Cavalerii Viola players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
