Cavalerii Viola's Mugurel Puișoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Pantelimon in the 12th minute of play. Mugurel Puișoru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Nedelciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Natalio De Mitri charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natalio De Mitri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute Academia Rio were awarded a corner. Dumitru Pantelimon went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Academia Rio's corner Dumitru Pantelimon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mugurel Puișoru quite easily take care of the ball. Ahmet İlke Develi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelian Coporan was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Natalio De Mitri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Natalio De Mitri really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Mugurel Puișoru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Nedelciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Sergiu Coșeriu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugurel Puișoru was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Sergiu Coșeriu made the kick off in the second half. Aurelian Coporan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Poenaru in the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 贺树迅 in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelian Coporan saved Academia Rio from getting behind. A collision led to Cavalerii Viola getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Natalio De Mitri hit a great ball. Aurelian Coporan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ive Kindermans, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ahmet İlke Develi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelian Coporan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Radu Păvăloae reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mugurel Puișoru. The goal made the score 1-2. Dorel Nedelciu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Mugurel Puișoru when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cavalerii Viola's Mugurel Puișoru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Cavalerii Viola from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cavalerii Viola's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dumitru Pantelimon was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia Rio's players had a chance to rest. In the 90th minute, Ovidiu Poenaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelian Coporan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 贺树迅 in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelian Coporan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Academia Rio were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
