Korneliusz Kocieniewski started the match with the kick off. In the 12th minute Sorin Lipan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Hârțan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costică Brânzaș kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Sorin Lipan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goalkeeper Ernest Ştati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korneliusz Kocieniewski. 26 minutes into the game, Darwin Núñez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ernest Ştati was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adam Bratiloveanu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goalkeeper Ernest Ştati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darwin Núñez. Leonard Cartianu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Dacian Burnei hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Vali Buzescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC STEAUA BRAILA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vali Buzescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernest Ştati came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by FC STEAUA BRAILA's Maurício Corrêa. But to his dismay, Maurício Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Costică Brânzaș hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sorin Lipan was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Nicodim Zogreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s supporters rose to their feet, but Nicodim Zogreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Hârțan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th match minute, FC STEAUA BRAILA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darwin Núñez to maneuver through the defense. Ernest Ştati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darwin Núñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute.
