Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iurie Avacariței to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet İlke Ertüze in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Oltul Slatina's goalkeeper Manuel Lovinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on FC Oltul Slatina's corner Ilie Leahu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dorel Bolborici quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ahmet İlke Ertüze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Lovinescu was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FC Oltul Slatina's zone, Ahmet İlke Ertüze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Lovinescu came out of the goal and Ahmet İlke Ertüze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Oltul Slatina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 82 minutes into the game, one of FC Oltul Slatina:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ahmet İlke Ertüze walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 86th minute Ahmet İlke Ertüze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lovinescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
