In the 5th minute Radomir Czerwinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojtek Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Vlahuță's goalkeeper Dacian Gugulanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dacian Gugulanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Castel in the 8th minute of play. Cedric Van Den Bosche tried in the 10th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Dacian Gugulanu a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Wojtek Szczęsny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Babarada in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Esa Hagelberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of F.C.BARLAD's Wojtek Szczęsny. Wojtek Szczęsny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wojtek Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esa Hagelberg in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Radomir Czerwinski put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Wojtek Szczęsny. After 28 minutes of play, FC Vlahuță's Radomir Czerwinski made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wojtek Szczęsny was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the match, Ni Gang Yi notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of FC Vlahuță's Dacian Gugulanu. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudiu Doinaș to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Bucuță in the 93rd minute of play forced FC Vlahuță's goalkeeper Dacian Gugulanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Braulio Castel fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.BARLAD's protests and gave Braulio Castel a yellow card for diving instead. Claudiu Doinaș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wojtek Szczęsny having to interfere. The supporters of F.C.BARLAD booed when FC Vlahuță was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Vulcănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dumitru Surdu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 100th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C.BARLAD had won after a very even match.
