UFC STEAUA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iulian Noica ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ...ASGARD...'s Stelian Tătaru to fire away a dangerous shot which João Massa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. UFC STEAUA's João Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save UFC STEAUA from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute ...ASGARD... were awarded a corner. Iulian Noica went to the cornerflag to take it. Iulian Noica made a great header on ...ASGARD...'s corner, it was just that UFC STEAUA's João Massa managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 21st minute Mimoun Palić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, João Massa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Urbasa Jofre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Hodorog's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. João Massa made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Eliodor Elian sent off a good shot on target. UFC STEAUA's João Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save UFC STEAUA from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Eliodor Elian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliodor Elian kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 51 played minutes UFC STEAUA got a freekick which was hit by Alin Davidescu. In the 55th match minute, UFC STEAUA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Alexandru to maneuver through the defense. João Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mimoun Palić in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of ...ASGARD... booed when UFC STEAUA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alin Davidescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Iulian Noica got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Massa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by UFC STEAUA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iulian Noica was slow to take the kick. During this time ...ASGARD...'s players had a chance to rest. Csongor Csonka made a great header on ...ASGARD...'s corner, it was just that UFC STEAUA's João Massa managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 66th minute Eliodor Elian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Massa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mimoun Palić's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After 80 minutes of play, ...ASGARD...'s Eliodor Elian made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Massa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 83 minutes, Mimoun Palić made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. UFC STEAUA's João Massa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. João Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliodor Elian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes UFC STEAUA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iulian Noica who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ...ASGARD...'s Eliodor Elian to fire away a dangerous shot which João Massa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The ...ASGARD... fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when ...ASGARD...'s Eliodor Elian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. João Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mimoun Palić in the 92nd minute of the match. UFC STEAUA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
