The supporters of FC Arges Dacia Pitesti booed when Granicerul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordache Ioneasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidor Quintarnaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Simion, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Mihai Grozuță's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remus Vuia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Laurențiu Ciocâltea took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidor Quintarnaya. Isidor Quintarnaya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Valentin Ştefănică recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Eric Simion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidor Quintarnaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Isidor Quintarnaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Ioneasa in the 86th minute of play. Isidor Quintarnaya came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Granicerul's Valeriu Zoreanu. But to his dismay, Valeriu Zoreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Granicerul's Remus Vuia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Grozuță in the 91st minute of play. Ionel Ştoia lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.
