An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Karanewski in the 5th minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carpathians's Călin Ghioncu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Sundström in the 7th minute of play. Călin Ghioncu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Sundström in the 10th minute of the match. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carpathians were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Ares FC -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Connor Hughes took the corner. After 18 played minutes Carpathians got a freekick which was hit by Erhun Yılma. In the 23rdth minute of the game Baal Ares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpathians's Călin Ghioncu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute, Ceferino Erroman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Jivulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobald Karanewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Baal Ares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ares FC -MM-'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Teobald Karanewski scored to the left of an out of position Luca Jivulescu, making the score, 1-0. Luca Jivulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cazimir Feteanu in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute Baal Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Ghioncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute Ares FC -MM- were awarded a corner. Karadeniz Otay went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ares FC -MM-'s corner Karadeniz Otay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Călin Ghioncu quite easily take care of the ball. Baal Ares scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Călin Ghioncu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baal Ares made a kick off. Carpathians's Călin Ghioncu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baal Ares in the 55th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Carpathians got a freekick which was hit by Troizen Giannakopoulos. In the 59th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Karadeniz Otay hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Carpathians's Călin Ghioncu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baal Ares in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Ares FC -MM- getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Călin Hoisie hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Carpathians got a freekick which was hit by Connor Hughes. Mădălin Lipan kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Teobald Karanewski came free, but Luca Jivulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Jivulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobald Karanewski in the 73rd minute of play. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Connor Hughes with Dorel Pipirig as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 2-1 became the score in the 79th minute when Alin Nichitelea elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Baal Ares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Călin Ghioncu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute Baal Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Ghioncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Jivulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Ciurea in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Nichitelea in the 97th minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
