Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Twan van Nistelrooij kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, F.C. YKE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodri Gol to maneuver through the defense. When Robert Antohi fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Steaua Pildesti's protests and gave Robert Antohi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7thth minute of the game Twan van Nistelrooij who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C. YKE's Mugur Ceaușescu got a free kick in the 9th minute. With an all-out effort, FC Steaua Pildesti's Felix Leahu threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucian Stere, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rd minute Rodri Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Văduvescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Twan van Nistelrooij notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu. Marian Văduvescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 33 minutes, Traian Brăiloiu made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucian Stere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Dunajski in the 43rd minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Felix Leahu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. YKE from getting a goal against them. After the first half F.C. YKE were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zygmunt Dunajski to make the kick off. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Stere came free, but Felix Leahu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Lucian Stere left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Steaua Pildesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 80th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Antohi to maneuver through the defense. Twan van Nistelrooij sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Filip Paulescu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Marian Văduvescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Traian Brăiloiu. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Steaua Pildesti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! In the 97th match minute, F.C. YKE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yao Xing Chao to maneuver through the defense.
