In the 20th minute George Schiau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Caranfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Vertigo defense, Nazım Taci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidiu Caranfil. The Club Vertigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Caranfil should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristinel Alamaru. Nazım Taci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Caranfil having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when George Schiau came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Nazım Taci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. George Schiau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidiu Caranfil having to make a save. Well-Well Benne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Pereyra having to interfere. After 41 played minutes New York Red Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Salih Şahsuvaroğlu. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nazım Taci made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Nazım Taci put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ovidiu Caranfil. 59 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when George Schiau came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nazım Taci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Well-Well Benne hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nazım Taci in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Caranfil saved Club Vertigo from getting behind. Ovidiu Caranfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Schiau in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Nazım Taci came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. New York Red Bulls's George Schiau suffered a sore thigh after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Damian Tirulescu fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Vertigo's protests and gave Damian Tirulescu a yellow card for diving instead. New York Red Bulls made a substitution. Emanuel Encescu replaced George Schiau. A collision led to Club Vertigo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Damian Tirulescu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazım Taci in the 81st minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes in the game Remus Bercea did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nazım Taci. After a rather tough play, Club Vertigo's Nikulás Benediktsson got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basarab Panduru during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Basarab Panduru kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Vertigo booed when New York Red Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Encescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the New York Red Bulls defense, Sabin Corcoveanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Pereyra. The New York Red Bulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Pereyra should have stopped the shot. Ovidiu Caranfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazım Taci in the 95th minute of the match. New York Red Bulls's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
