Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernest Manea started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, A4p FC Gad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Penaru to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of A4p FC Gad:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Politehnica Timisoara:s goal. The goalkeeper, Olimpiu Târlea, was totally fooled by FC Politehnica Timisoara's Timmy Deckbergh, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Martin Crușeveanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olimpiu Târlea came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Crușeveanu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Remus Chițes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petru Tărău recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olimpiu Târlea made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ernest Manea sent off a good shot on target. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Isac Hojbota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Dragalina in the 25th minute of play. A hard shot 30 in the game by Ernest Manea from a close distance when the talented Olimpiu Târlea managed to make a qualified save. A4p FC Gad's players were relieved. In the 31st minute FC Politehnica Timisoara were awarded a corner. Timmy Deckbergh went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 32nd match minute, A4p FC Gad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Arsenescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute of the match Timmy Deckbergh shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olimpiu Târlea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC Politehnica Timisoara's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Timmy Deckbergh in the 35th minute. A nice corner shot did that Timmy Deckbergh got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olimpiu Târlea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 36th minute, Olimpiu Rizea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olimpiu Târlea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Rizea, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute Olimpiu Rizea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Târlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, A4p FC Gad's Remus Chițes got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petru Tărău stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isac Hojbota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Tărău in the 55th minute of the match. When Olimpiu Rizea came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FC Politehnica Timisoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olimpiu Rizea couldn't finish the play. Olimpiu Rizea struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Olimpiu Târlea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Politehnica Timisoara. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Iurie Sima replaced Matei Filipoiu. Olimpiu Târlea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Rizea, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 73 minutes of play, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Olimpiu Rizea made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olimpiu Târlea was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Politehnica Timisoara made a substitution. Ştefan Costin replaced Olimpiu Rizea. When Ştefan Costin got free in front of the goal in the 81st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Olimpiu Târlea was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Remus Chițes kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Olimpiu Târlea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Costin in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Ştefan Costin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Târlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the A4p FC Gad defense, Ştefan Costin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olimpiu Târlea. The A4p FC Gad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olimpiu Târlea should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Ştefan Costin notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of A4p FC Gad's Olimpiu Târlea. Olimpiu Târlea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that FC Politehnica Timisoara were the better team. FC Politehnica Timisoara's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
