FC Politehnica Timisoara's Isac Hojbota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save FC Politehnica Timisoara from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olimpiu Rizea in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucrețiu Roșeanu saved Sporting Royal from getting behind. Isac Hojbota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Gherasescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rony Dudu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavian Gherasescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Isac Hojbota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Rizea in the 21st minute of play forced Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Roșeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Sporting Royal's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Manea came free, but Lucrețiu Roșeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olimpiu Rizea to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sporting Royal's Lucrețiu Roșeanu got control of the ball when Ernest Manea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isac Hojbota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Dragalina, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. FC Politehnica Timisoara made a substitution. Elias Abad replaced Håvard Bjørke. In the 85th minute, Ernest Manea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87thth minute of the game Ernest Manea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Royal's Lucrețiu Roșeanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Ernest Manea got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ernest Manea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Politehnica Timisoara walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
