After 2 minutes of play, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Martin Crușeveanu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leontin Oprița was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leontin Oprița took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Manea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ernest Manea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Politehnica Timisoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Manea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leontin Oprița breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leontin Oprița didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Crușeveanu went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionică Caciulescu got free with Isac Hojbota in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FC Politehnica Timisoara booed when Anarhistii YR☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Tănasă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Ernest Manea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Politehnica Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 31st minute, Ernest Manea made a precise shot to the right of Leontin Oprița. Anarhistii YR☆'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Yosua Helguera got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Ernest Manea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Leontin Oprița was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute, Håvard Bjørke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 74th minute Ionică Caciulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Hojbota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olimpiu Rizea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Leontin Oprița tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håvard Bjørke scored 0-8 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leontin Oprița, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Elias Abad was substituted for Håvard Bjørke. Olimpiu Rizea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leontin Oprița came out and tried to block the shot, but Olimpiu Rizea slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 91st minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Politehnica Timisoara had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
