Vlad Covrig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sami Zübeyr's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Eric Astafei hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Vlad Covrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Czapski, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sami Zübeyr in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Covrig saved PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting behind. When Sami Zübeyr came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the FC Maci -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sami Zübeyr couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s Igor Czapski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vlad Covrig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Czapski in the 25th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Vlad Covrig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes of play, FC Maci -MM-'s Igor Czapski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vlad Covrig was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sami Zübeyr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Astafei's late challenge caught a FC Maci -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Astafei helped the player get up and apologised. Eric Astafei hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Petruescu in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Igor Czapski got a free kick in the 38th minute. Tristan Falco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Olimpiu Fecioru. Vlad Covrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Czapski in the 40th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sami Zübeyr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Igor Czapski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristan Falco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Istodor, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 57thth minute of the game Sami Zübeyr who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Sami Zübeyr recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vlad Covrig. Sami Zübeyr showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca! The goalkeeper, Vlad Covrig, was totally fooled by FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Igor Czapski struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Vlad Covrig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Maci -MM-. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Felix Lucaci replaced Martin Costeiantu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sami Zübeyr in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vlad Covrig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalie prevented a goal. Sami Zübeyr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vlad Covrig having to make a save. 74 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Sami Zübeyr came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sami Zübeyr in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vlad Covrig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Vlad Covrig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sami Zübeyr. Sorin Nicorici charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sorin Nicorici the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sorin Nicorici hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Sami Zübeyr notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig. Vlad Covrig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 90th minute of play. Vlad Covrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 92nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Sami Zübeyr sped through PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vlad Covrig. FC Maci -MM-'s Anatoly Karpov was substituted for Igor Czapski.
