But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico De Rubeis couldn't finish the play. In the 51st minute of the match, Olimpiu Mustea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pompiliu Murgescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 55th minute Olimpiu Mustea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Murgescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionel Panaitoiu came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by AVANTUL PETRICANI's Ion Moscu. But to his dismay, Ion Moscu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ionel Panaitoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Moscu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Phoenix Strikers's Ionel Panaitoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico De Rubeis in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Strikers's Laurențiu Stelaru got a free kick in the 83rd minute. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
