The tension between the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca and the The Valar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Borza. Vlad Covrig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Rigg in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, William Rigg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Valar's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Rigg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Rigg in the 29th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Vlad Covrig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, William Rigg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig. Vlad Covrig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Manwë Vala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Valar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Vlad Covrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Rigg in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, William Rigg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Vlad Covrig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Manwë Vala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when William Rigg came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Rigg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting a goal against them. William Rigg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Valar's Aulë Vala was substituted for Manwë Vala. When The Valar's William Rigg in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalie prevented a goal. Vlad Covrig made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Rigg in the 72nd minute. William Rigg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vlad Covrig having to make a save. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, The Valar's William Rigg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Vlad Covrig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Fecioru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Valar the free kick. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Olimpiu Fecioru got a free kick in the 94th minute.
