Laurențiu Stelaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Willem Adams scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ionel Panaitoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 9 played minutes Phoenix Strikers got a freekick which was hit by Traian Moldovan. In the 10thth minute of the game Ion Moscu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenix Strikers's Ionel Panaitoiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 10th play minutes Ion Moscu shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Ionel Panaitoiu and just under the crossbar into goal. Tití Turbatu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, AVANTUL PETRICANI's Tití Turbatu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionel Panaitoiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horaţiu Dinulescu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Pompiliu Murgescu 24 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, AVANTUL PETRICANI's Tití Turbatu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionel Panaitoiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 33 minutes into the match, Ion Moscu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionel Panaitoiu. Phoenix Strikers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ion Moscu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. A collision led to Phoenix Strikers getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Laurențiu Stelaru hit a great ball. The AVANTUL PETRICANI fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when AVANTUL PETRICANI's Ion Moscu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 46th match minute, Phoenix Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Aanuţei to maneuver through the defense. If Jan-Willem Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Traian Moldovan made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Phoenix Strikers's Horaţiu Dinulescu made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pompiliu Murgescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 60 minutes Phoenix Strikers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 张凡榕 who took care of the corner kick. The corner led AVANTUL PETRICANI's 傅竞昆 to a score. 2-7 in the 60th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Phoenix Strikers's goalkeeper Ionel Panaitoiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Willem Adams. AVANTUL PETRICANI's Ion Moscu got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ion Moscu might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionel Panaitoiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ion Moscu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tití Turbatu in the 72nd minute of play forced Phoenix Strikers's goalkeeper Ionel Panaitoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pompiliu Murgescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Mustea, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Phoenix Strikers getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Eric Aanuţei hit a great ball. AVANTUL PETRICANI's Jani Petters was substituted for Tití Turbatu. If Jan-Willem Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Jani Petters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ionel Panaitoiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Willem Adams in the 93rd minute. Ion Moscu succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-9. AVANTUL PETRICANI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
