After 3 played minutes AVANTUL PETRICANI got a freekick which was hit by 张凡榕. Ion Moscu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vlad Covrig having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Moscu came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Sorin Nicorici got a free kick in the 17th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ion Moscu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vlad Covrig quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 27 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Giugiuc came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Moscu in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Moscu came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Jan-Willem Adams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ion Moscu spun around in front of the goal 37 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal. In the 41st minute, Tití Turbatu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vlad Covrig was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 45th minute when Ion Moscu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Vlad Covrig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Moscu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamantino Phoenix struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Vlad Covrig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AVANTUL PETRICANI. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Phoenix in the 59th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Vlad Covrig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diamantino Phoenix during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AVANTUL PETRICANI getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Diamantino Phoenix hit a great ball. Jan-Willem Adams came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vlad Covrig could save by the left post. In the 69th match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Fecioru to maneuver through the defense. Sorin Nicorici hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The supporters of AVANTUL PETRICANI booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Nicorici didn't get a good kick on the ball. 张凡榕 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AVANTUL PETRICANI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 张凡榕 in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Jani Petters cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Vlad Covrig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jani Petters who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Vlad Covrig when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 86th minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Sorin Nicorici seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sorin Nicorici the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sorin Nicorici had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sorin Nicorici hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 张凡榕's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vlad Covrig firmly grabbed it by the left post. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Jani Petters scored to the left of an out of position Vlad Covrig, making the score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's zone, Jani Petters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlad Covrig came out of the goal and Jani Petters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AVANTUL PETRICANI were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
