The AVANTUL PETRICANI fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when AVANTUL PETRICANI's Ion Moscu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AVANTUL PETRICANI's goalie prevented a goal. Vlad Mavrogheni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Pompiliu Murgescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ion Moscu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Tristan Falco made a huge save. AVANTUL PETRICANI's Pompiliu Murgescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 19th minute of play. When Tití Turbatu came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the AVANTUL PETRICANI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tití Turbatu couldn't finish the play. After 25 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Dombi. The audience was convinced that Sami Zübeyr's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pompiliu Murgescu was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. FC Maci -MM-'s Tristan Falco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Moscu in the 33rd minute of play. Pompiliu Murgescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sami Zübeyr went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the game, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pompiliu Murgescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Tristan Falco made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ion Moscu sent off a good shot on target. Pompiliu Murgescu came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr. But to his dismay, Sami Zübeyr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Tristan Falco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Willem Adams, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sami Zübeyr in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pompiliu Murgescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tristan Falco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tití Turbatu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, AVANTUL PETRICANI's goalkeeper Pompiliu Murgescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sami Zübeyr. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by AVANTUL PETRICANI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dieter Nisipeanu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Maci -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in AVANTUL PETRICANI's zone, Sami Zübeyr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pompiliu Murgescu came out of the goal and Sami Zübeyr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Maci -MM-'s Felix Lucaci was substituted for Martin Costeiantu. Sami Zübeyr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pompiliu Murgescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Emilian Boroneanț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AVANTUL PETRICANI's Jani Petters was substituted for Tití Turbatu. Igor Czapski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tristan Falco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Giugiuc in the 90th minute of play. Pompiliu Murgescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 91st minute of play. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
