Ingvar Hellkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isac Mihălțan's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Kubrat Delkov notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Ingvar Hellkvist. Ingvar Hellkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Bogdan Lobonț threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diego Armando Maradona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 30 minutes, Nae Corbuț mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L and the A4p Dejani players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of A4p Dejani booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Corbuț didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bogdan Lobonț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Armando Maradona in the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Denis Nisipeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Nisipeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Lobonț breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingvar Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Ulizes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Diego Armando Maradona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Lobonț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A4p Dejani's Kubrat Delkov got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, A4p Dejani's Calistrat Ploieșteanu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Diego Armando Maradona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in A4p Dejani's zone, Diego Armando Maradona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 69th minute, Kubrat Delkov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ingvar Hellkvist. The goal made the score 0-3. The C Ａ R D I N Ａ L players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
