Octav Buta hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Octav Buta's late challenge caught a -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octav Buta helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of -BZF- Viitorul Buzau booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Buta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolae Pârâianu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilie Brumaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Angheloiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Angheloiu in the 21st minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ilie Brumaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cazimir Papadima was a little too slow when Manuel Neicu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Vintilă Bădescu got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Vali Piţurcă came free, but Ilie Brumaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolae Pârâianu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Ciprian Gaiță dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cazimir Papadima, 2-0. After 38 played minutes -BZF- Viitorul Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Brăescu. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru got control of the ball when Nicolae Pârâianu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petruț Dugulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Petruț Dugulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Cosula-BTF-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Petruț Dugulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th match minute, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Brăescu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Nicolae Pârâianu got a free kick in the 71st minute. 78 minutes into the game, Ciprian Gaiță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Cazimir Papadima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cazimir Papadima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Bădescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Cazimir Carp hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Alin Bucur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cazimir Papadima came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Cosula-BTF- reached it. When Aurel Lăceanu fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Cosula-BTF-'s protests and gave Aurel Lăceanu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Lăceanu to maneuver through the defense. Ilie Brumaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Angheloiu in the 87th minute of the match. Horia Răducanu lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground.
