FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Pârâianu in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Nicolae Pârâianu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ilie Brumaru. Ilie Brumaru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ilie Brumaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Pamfil in the 8th minute of play. Eduard Angheloiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the game, Petru Chirea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- Viitorul Buzau the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Teodorescu to maneuver through the defense. If Nicodim Vătăşel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to -BZF- Viitorul Buzau getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cazimir Carp hit a great ball. Sandu Bărbânță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eduard Angheloiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petru Pamfil scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilie Brumaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olimpiu Teodorescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's zone, Sandu Bărbânță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduard Angheloiu came out of the goal and Sandu Bărbânță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute Olimpiu Teodorescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Angheloiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Neicu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Manuel Neicu hit a great ball. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Şumălan in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Basarab Seremet got a free kick in the 81st minute. Petruț Dugulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Angheloiu having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Şumălan notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru. Ilie Brumaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when -BZF- Viitorul Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Şumălan didn't get a good kick on the ball.
