A very good chance. 9 minutes into the game, Alf Tanner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Igor Kelemen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sorin Bobocea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Ferdinand Costa made a precise shot to the right of Igor Kelemen. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ernie Ball was substituted for Karl-Michael Brask. Shkëlzen Ibrahimi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Shkëlzen Ibrahimi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Kelemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Şoiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Igor Kelemen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Şoiman in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Mugur Bejan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alf Tanner in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Kelemen saved Batalionul U23 Dorobanti from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernie Ball to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Alf Tanner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Kelemen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Grigore Şoiman in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Igor Kelemen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Igor Kelemen got control of the ball when Alf Tanner tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nae Groșan couldn't finish the play. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Diego Tristan was substituted for Rareș Hănescu. In the 83rd match minute, Balavanis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Flamini to maneuver through the defense. Sorin Bobocea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gheorghe Basarab, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 86 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Igor Kelemen was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Avram Barascu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Igor Kelemen came out and tried to block the shot, but Avram Barascu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 92nd minute. Alf Tanner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Igor Kelemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balavanis played a much better game than Batalionul U23 Dorobanti and deserved their victory. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
