The Club Sportiv Medgidia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicu Arghirescu should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Sebastian Toacsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicu Arghirescu. Club Sportiv Medgidia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Toacsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Sebastian Toacsen took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicu Arghirescu. After a rather tough play, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Flavius Băieșu got a free kick in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Toacsen got free with Nicu Arghirescu in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicu Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Vanghelie in the 72nd minute of the match. If Sebastian Toacsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the game, Rasnita's Radu Macri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Arghirescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. Nicu Arghirescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rareș Vanghelie went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 15-0 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the game, Alex Cunea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 16-0. Nicu Arghirescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Rasnita players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
