Vlashers's Pauli Palander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Ming Sheng in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when Vlashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Giurăscu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Vlashers getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Dinu Moșanu hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Shi Ming Sheng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pauli Palander. Vlashers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shi Ming Sheng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 92nd minute Shi Ming Sheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pauli Palander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
