Luís Fábio Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yanick Verschelde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Luís Fábio Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yanick Verschelde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Fábio Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. YR Mechelen's Yanick Verschelde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save YR Mechelen from getting a goal against them. Leo Van Mechelen kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Yanick Verschelde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fábio Cunha in the 9th minute. Luís Fábio Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Yanick Verschelde made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Van Mechelen in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Paublo saved Circus BAF from getting behind. In the 16thth minute of the game Miguel Van Mechelen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Circus BAF's Amador Paublo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Luís Fábio Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Circus BAF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fábio Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Circus BAF's Luís Fábio Cunha in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye YR Mechelen's goalie prevented a goal. Circus BAF's Luís Fábio Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yanick Verschelde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Martínez Gullotta in the 23rd minute of play. Circus BAF's Abdel Masoud Ghannouchi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yanick Verschelde in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Circus BAF's Lautaro Martínez Gullotta in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye YR Mechelen's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th minute, Lautaro Martínez Gullotta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goalkeeper Yanick Verschelde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fábio Cunha. Luís Fábio Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Yanick Verschelde made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Circus BAF's Luís Fábio Cunha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yanick Verschelde. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lautaro Martínez Gullotta to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in YR Mechelen's zone, Ronald Van Achteren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanick Verschelde came out of the goal and Ronald Van Achteren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Fábio Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Luís Fábio Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yanick Verschelde was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 64th minute, Luís Fábio Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yanick Verschelde was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 67 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Cunha came free, but Yanick Verschelde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Circus BAF fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Circus BAF's Luís Fábio Cunha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Circus BAF made a substitution. Samuel Namasivayam replaced Lautaro Martínez Gullotta. Circus BAF's Abubakar Al Abdullah was substituted for Viktor Goffyn. In the 80th minute Kobe Mesmaeckers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanick Verschelde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Kobe Mesmaeckers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yanick Verschelde was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. A sloppy throw-in by Jozef Van Acker in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Circus BAF's Liu Hao Zheng. Kobe Mesmaeckers might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yanick Verschelde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kobe Mesmaeckers ran back to his position shaking his head. Yanick Verschelde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kobe Mesmaeckers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goal looked a bit too open when Kobe Mesmaeckers came free, but Yanick Verschelde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yanick Verschelde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kobe Mesmaeckers, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Kobe Mesmaeckers took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yanick Verschelde. Yanick Verschelde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Samuel Namasivayam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yanick Verschelde having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Samuel Namasivayam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yanick Verschelde was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Circus BAF had played much better football throughout.
