The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Suikerklontjes got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Weijnandts. Joaquin Lekubegi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arne De Munck firmly grabbed it by the left post. 19 minutes into the game, Ignacio Quinteros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arne De Munck. Ignacio Quinteros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 23 played minutes Suikerklontjes got a freekick which was hit by Brend De Block. 25 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Weijnandts came free, but Jerome Ngake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnout Marant in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Jerome Ngake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Lekubegi got free with Arne De Munck in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Draconia's Dragutin Kasaikin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arnout Marant in the 41 minute of the game. A collision led to FC Draconia getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ignacio Quinteros hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johannes Weijnandts to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Johannes Weijnandts made a precise shot to the right of Jerome Ngake. FC Draconia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Brend De Block kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Ignacio Quinteros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arne De Munck. Suikerklontjes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Quinteros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 74 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Weijnandts came free, but Jerome Ngake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harald Sulems hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Suikerklontjes's Arne De Munck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregoire Decorte in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Gregoire Decorte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Arne De Munck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrià Vassaras in the 90th minute of play forced Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper Arne De Munck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Marant struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jerome Ngake didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suikerklontjes. FC Draconia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
