After 25 minutes, Robrecht Van Den Brande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Kilisspor and the Suikerklontjes players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to F.C. Kilisspor getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Robrecht Van Den Brande hit a great ball. The supporters of F.C. The crowd rose to their feet as Enzo Wolfdoncx kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arne De Munck. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. After 42 played minutes F.C. Kilisspor got a freekick which was hit by Robin Cuelens. Rocky De Strijcker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Weijnandts, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Rocky De Strijcker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janes Verhoeven in the 46th minute of play. Arne De Munck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Wolfdoncx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johannes Weijnandts to make the kick off. Suikerklontjes's Arne De Munck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedict Struijf in the 60th minute of play.
