With a little luck, AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven got control of the ball when Shi Yi Xi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomás Baldaia came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ulises Steven could save by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ulises Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Paschiers in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Tran Vrolijcx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ad Fundum's zone, Tang Di Nan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kajetan Dawiec came out of the goal and Tang Di Nan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kajetan Dawiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Smits in the 86th minute of the match. AFC Koolkerke's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tang Di Nan in the 88th minute. Tang Di Nan made a great header on AFC Koolkerke's corner, it was just that Ad Fundum's Kajetan Dawiec managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 91st minute of the match AFC Koolkerke got a corner. Ad Fundum's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag.
