Stanny Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joery Hylen in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Young Ostend United's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Bento came free, but Stanny Van Gorp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Bento struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Stanny Van Gorp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Klavertje Vier. After some careless play in the FC Klavertje Vier defense, Filip Joks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zabulón Carabajal. The FC Klavertje Vier fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zabulón Carabajal should have stopped the shot. With his leg Zabulón Carabajal managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Young Ostend United's Romário Molina fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stanny Van Gorp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joery Hylen in the 26th minute of the match. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braulio Bento to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Joery Hylen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. FC Klavertje Vier made a substitution. Pierre Gebuers replaced Armağan Yörük. In the 66th minute Joery Hylen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanny Van Gorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute of the match FC Klavertje Vier got a corner. Young Ostend United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Georges-Philippe Jooris ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Kemen got free with Stanny Van Gorp in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the game, Celedonio Kemen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Klavertje Vier's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Young Ostend United the free kick. Celedonio Kemen kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Young Ostend United got a freekick which was hit by 秦昂平. A hard shot by Georges-Philippe Jooris from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Stanny Van Gorp's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by 秦昂平 in the 86th minute of play forced FC Klavertje Vier's goalkeeper Zabulón Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kris Rondou kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Celedonio Kemen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Stanny Van Gorp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
