In the 16thth minute of the game Jüri Djorkaeff who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but de belletrekkers's De-la-Cruz de Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Hoeybroeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Vanbuyten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulus Van Hove in the 21st minute of the match. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Portus Ganda's Enrique Jacinto. But to his dismay, Enrique Jacinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 30 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Marten Merckx came free, but Tony Vanbuyten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wagner Mamakin kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Tony Vanbuyten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philipp Van Emelen in the 32nd minute of the match. de belletrekkers were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Portus Ganda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Severino Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes de belletrekkers got a freekick which was hit by Severino Novaes. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Güralp Ergüleç made a kick off. Rafal Rudnyak's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tony Vanbuyten firmly grabbed it by the left post. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portus Ganda's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marten Merckx was slow to take the kick. During this time de belletrekkers's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arthur Leyman during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, one of Portus Ganda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Portus Ganda. Portus Ganda:s Tony Vanbuyten showed great skill when he stopped Marten Merckx:s penalty. de belletrekkers's De-la-Cruz de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ye Yang Ao in the 59th minute of play.
