The KV Schoonwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Ingelbert should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Geraerts in the 8th minute of play forced fc eendenpad's goalkeeper Andreas Boegaerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Boegaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Geraerts in the 13th minute of play. Perry Uyterhelcht scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Ingelbert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Perry Uyterhelcht could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Daniel Ingelbert made a huge save. When KV Schoonwater's Refael De Boeck in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After recieving a nice pass, KV Schoonwater's Joachim Wiggers tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Dimitri Fouquet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Ingelbert. Dimitri Fouquet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Van Den Wijngaert to strike the kick off in the second half. Andreas Boegaerts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Refael De Boeck in the 50th minute. In the 53rd minute Abel Van Den Wijngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Boegaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Ingelbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitri Fouquet in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Fouquet came free, but Daniel Ingelbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sem Roekeloos got free with Andreas Boegaerts in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Bara came free, but Daniel Ingelbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The fc eendenpad fans cheered their team off the field, for while KV Schoonwater had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
