Schelde's goalkeeper Ruben Wilza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pieter Van Landewijck. A nice corner shot did that Henning Ekström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruben Wilza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. King Eken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Avelgem ad. Schelde's Ruben Wilza got control of the ball when King Eken tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Gert-Jan Schroons got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruben Wilza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. King Eken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Ruben Wilza made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Jan-Simon Elsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Wilza was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Despite being the better team, Club Brugge failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
