Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sean Mallecots in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julius Vanneste prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sean Mallecots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Julius Vanneste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sean Mallecots blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julius Vanneste having to make a save. Amador Azailla kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's Sean Mallecots sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julius Vanneste narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Invictus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octave Hendrickx to maneuver through the defense. Invictus FC's Eddy Stoorms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jason Jonckers in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Invictus FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rafet Şikel hit a great ball. In the 22nd match minute, Limburg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Azailla to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Mallecots in the 24th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Julius Vanneste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Limburg United defense, Sean Mallecots kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julius Vanneste. The Limburg United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julius Vanneste should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Sean Mallecots managed to get in a good position for a shot. Invictus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sean Mallecots was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julius Vanneste breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Invictus FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Froilan Abar was slow to take the kick. During this time Limburg United's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Invictus FC's goalie and right to Anios Karaoulanis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Invictus FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Fredrik Terwenhout made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's Sean Mallecots sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julius Vanneste narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Emanuel Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Invictus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limburg United the free kick. In the 81st match minute, Invictus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octave Hendrickx to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Invictus FC's Octave Hendrickx seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Octave Hendrickx the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Invictus FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Octave Hendrickx had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 82 minutes into the game, one of Invictus FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jason Jonckers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brend Vanden Driessche's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Eddy Stoorms skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 94 minutes into the match, Emanuel Coekelbergh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eddy Stoorms. Invictus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Coekelbergh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Invictus FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
