The audience was convinced that Benjamin Carberry's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radamel Hendrickx was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After 16th play minutes Yuri Portugal shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Waud De Geyter and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Fauna Utd booed when Silver Squad AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Litenboks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waud De Geyter didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Radamel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Unai Sócrates scored 5-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waud De Geyter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Unai Sócrates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Portugal in the 48th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Carberry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
