The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Mallecots in the 7th minute of play forced De Beverpatrouille's goalkeeper Loui Volens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes of play, Invictus FC's Sean Mallecots made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loui Volens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Invictus FC's Eddy Stoorms proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Invictus FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to De Beverpatrouille getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gérard Van Bever hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Danilo Abalos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Beverpatrouille's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Abalos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sean Mallecots struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Loui Volens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Invictus FC. When Invictus FC's Sean Mallecots, in the 26th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Invictus FC. In the 37thth minute of the game Sean Mallecots who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Beverpatrouille's Loui Volens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Invictus FC booed when De Beverpatrouille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henri-Xavier Geeraerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sean Mallecots in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loui Volens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Abalos came free, but Eddy Stoorms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loui Volens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sean Mallecots went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Invictus FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sean Mallecots stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, De Beverpatrouille's Robby Caspers got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Invictus FC's Rafet Şikel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Loui Volens but with some difficulty. 56 minutes into the match, Sean Mallecots dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Loui Volens, 0-3. Loui Volens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxwell van Beek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, Maxwell van Beek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Loui Volens. Maxwell van Beek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. If Emanuel Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute Invictus FC were awarded a corner. Rafet Şikel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Invictus FC's Marnix De Vorster getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Zdzislaw Pilsudski kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Sean Mallecots did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Loui Volens 71 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sean Mallecots got free with Loui Volens in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loui Volens was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Sean Mallecots capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sean Mallecots really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. De Beverpatrouille's Loui Volens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Mallecots in the 77th minute of play. Sean Mallecots's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loui Volens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Invictus FC booed when De Beverpatrouille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Postolache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Invictus FC made a substitution. Octaaf Van der Meiren replaced Alexander Hendrickx.
