Damazy Radzyminski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Laurence Soens in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Invictus FC's Alexander Hendrickx. 8 minutes into the game, Sean Mallecots recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waud De Geyter. Sean Mallecots showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Emanuel Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Frans Van Caubergen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sean Mallecots took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waud De Geyter. Waud De Geyter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Alexander Hendrickx charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Hendrickx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Invictus FC's Alexander Hendrickx got a free kick in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Radzyminski came free, but Eddy Stoorms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match Silver Squad AFC got a corner. Invictus FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henrik Ooms ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Silver Squad AFC's Henrik Ooms to fire away a dangerous shot which Eddy Stoorms despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Invictus FC's Marnix De Vorster managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Izydor Czysta in the 24 minute of the game. After 26 minutes of play, Silver Squad AFC's Benjamin Carberry made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eddy Stoorms was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maxwell van Beek hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 36 minutes Silver Squad AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafet Şikel who took care of the corner kick. When Sean Mallecots came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Invictus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sean Mallecots couldn't finish the play. Sean Mallecots recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sean Mallecots made a kick off. Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Mallecots in the 51st minute of play. Damazy Radzyminski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eddy Stoorms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Mallecots in the 68th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Damazy Radzyminski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 77th minute of play forced Invictus FC's goalkeeper Eddy Stoorms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loid De Keuster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Eddy Stoorms made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Alexander Hendrickx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes Invictus FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Hendrickx. Laurence Soens hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Laurence Soens in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Invictus FC's Octave Hendrickx. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Invictus FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Silver Squad AFC for much of the match.
