In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Christoffel Portmans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christoffel Portmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Pilsudski in the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Gullegem getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Waut Du Molin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Amsler in the 43rd minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Christoffel Portmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Barnaba Pilsudski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffel Portmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waut Du Molin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
