FC Dharma Initiative's Jesse Naessens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jabbar De Roeulx in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Viktor de Pelsmacker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Jabbar De Roeulx could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Jesse Naessens however easily saved by the left post. Elias Verdonk's late challenge caught a FC Dharma Initiative's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Verdonk helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LeRoeulx's Elias Verdonk got a free kick in the 16th minute. LeRoeulx were furious when Pascal Van der Willeghem was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. LeRoeulx:s Jeremy Coremans showed great skill when he stopped Fredrik Depauw:s penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viktor de Pelsmacker during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot 25 in the game by Jabbar De Roeulx from a close distance when the talented Jesse Naessens managed to make a qualified save. FC Dharma Initiative's players were relieved. LeRoeulx's Jabbar De Roeulx was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jabbar De Roeulx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse Naessens having to interfere. Jeremy Coremans came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dharma Initiative's Viktor de Pelsmacker. But to his dismay, Viktor de Pelsmacker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Brian Van Eynde charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brian Van Eynde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Dharma Initiative booed when LeRoeulx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Van Eynde didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jabbar De Roeulx was the one to do the kick off. Jesse Naessens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jabbar De Roeulx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute of the match LeRoeulx got a corner. FC Dharma Initiative's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ward de Pelsmacker ran over to the corner to take the kick. 59 minutes into the game, Xander Wenderix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LeRoeulx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dharma Initiative the free kick. After a rather tough play, LeRoeulx's Xander Wenderix got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jabbar De Roeulx in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesse Naessens saved FC Dharma Initiative from getting behind. When LeRoeulx's Jabbar De Roeulx in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Dharma Initiative's goalie prevented a goal. Jeremy Coremans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor de Pelsmacker, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jabbar De Roeulx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jesse Naessens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesse Naessens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jabbar De Roeulx, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Sebastien Verstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes FC Dharma Initiative's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ward de Pelsmacker who took care of the corner kick. LeRoeulx's Jabbar De Roeulx was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jesse Naessens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 85th match minute, LeRoeulx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles-Antoine Thielemans to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Dharma Initiative booed when LeRoeulx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Verdonk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesse Naessens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jabbar De Roeulx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
