Mathijs Rokeloos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jesse Naessens made a huge save. Jesse Naessens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathijs Rokeloos in the 18th minute of the match. Jesse Naessens was a little too slow when Mathijs Rokeloos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Mathijs Rokeloos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Jesse Naessens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 28 minutes FC Dharma Initiative's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matthias Wauters who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on KFC Cromvelde's corner Karl-Heinz Kaltz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jesse Naessens quite easily take care of the ball. In the 31st minute, Sebastien Verstraeten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Mathijs Rokeloos made a precise shot to the right of Jesse Naessens. FC Dharma Initiative's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 38th minute, Mathijs Rokeloos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Jesse Naessens managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when KFC Cromvelde's Mathijs Rokeloos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Dharma Initiative's goalkeeper Jesse Naessens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jesse Naessens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mathijs Rokeloos made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Stef Quinet threw the ball into play from the sideline. KFC Cromvelde's Jochen Van den Panhuizen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 58 minutes FC Dharma Initiative's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matthias Wauters who took care of the corner kick. Jesse Naessens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathijs Rokeloos's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Boris Buyck hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Matthias Wauters sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Dharma Initiative's Jesse Naessens didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathijs Rokeloos in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesse Naessens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dé 武松 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, KFC Cromvelde's Dé 武松 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesse Naessens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. FC Dharma Initiative's Jesse Naessens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé 武松 in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Dé 武松 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesse Naessens. FC Dharma Initiative's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dé 武松 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Dé 武松 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesse Naessens having to make a save. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Dé 武松 sped through FC Dharma Initiative's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jesse Naessens.
