Luca Savino ran back to his position shaking his head. Dino Maquiano kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Michel Čech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Savino's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Arlo Arruta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cederik Huts having to make a save. With a little luck, Kickers United's Cederik Huts got control of the ball when Arlo Arruta tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Arlo Arruta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cederik Huts. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. If Arlo Arruta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cederik Huts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arlo Arruta in the 33rd minute. Lukas Caers kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With a little luck, Kickers United's Cederik Huts got control of the ball when Arlo Arruta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arlo Arruta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Kickers United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
