Otto Fenomeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Michel Čech successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Esquirla FC's zone, Otto Fenomeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Čech came out of the goal and Otto Fenomeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michel Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Fenomeno in the 9th minute of play. Fang Kun Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlo Arruta in the 11th minute of play. Fang Kun Zheng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arlo Arruta's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bredene's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute of the match Esquirla FC got a corner. FC Bredene's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredo Bertran ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arlo Arruta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fang Kun Zheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arlo Arruta in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fang Kun Zheng saved FC Bredene from getting behind. FC Bredene's Fang Kun Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlo Arruta in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match FC Bredene got a corner. Esquirla FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mai Si Liang ran over to the corner to take the kick. Michel Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Fenomeno in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlo Arruta in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Bredene's goalkeeper Fang Kun Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Otto Fenomeno took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Michel Čech to make any attempt to save it. Karl Slegers hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Arlo Arruta notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Bredene's Fang Kun Zheng. Fang Kun Zheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 53 minutes, Arlo Arruta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esquirla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arlo Arruta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Fenomeno in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Otto Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otto Fenomeno struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Michel Čech didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bredene. Esquirla FC's attentive Braulio Casomiro managed to snatch the ball when Karl Slegers made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Arlo Arruta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fang Kun Zheng was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Michel Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otto Fenomeno in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Čech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lukas Caers hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Fang Kun Zheng made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Arlo Arruta sent off a good shot on target.
