Kickers United's Cederik Huts tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 6thth minute of the game Otto Fenomeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kickers United's Cederik Huts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Otto Fenomeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Otto Fenomeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otto Fenomeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cederik Huts having to interfere. Fang Kun Zheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Savino, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Fenomeno got free with Cederik Huts in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Otto Fenomeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cederik Huts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute FC Bredene were awarded a corner. Mai Si Liang went to the cornerflag to take it. Mai Si Liang made a great header on FC Bredene's corner, it was just that Kickers United's Cederik Huts managed to reach the ball for a save. 35 minutes into the match, FC Bredene's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Savino came free, but Fang Kun Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fang Kun Zheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Savino, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Fenomeno in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Luca Savino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Otto Fenomeno took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cederik Huts to make any attempt to save it. Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Fenomeno in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Otto Fenomeno was the one to do the kick off. Fang Kun Zheng made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Luca Savino sent off a good shot on target. Dino Maquiano hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Otto Fenomeno took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cederik Huts. Cederik Huts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Patricio Vimaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cederik Huts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes FC Bredene got a freekick which was hit by Ilias Chatzidimitriou. Kickers United made a substitution. Douglas Raes replaced Leonides Blasi. Kickers United's Lode Rouvroys was substituted for Jorge Reijnders. In the 67th match minute, FC Bredene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilias Chatzidimitriou to maneuver through the defense. If Otto Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute Otto Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Huts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Bredene booed when Kickers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Kochowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otto Fenomeno in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cederik Huts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by Antonio Netels with Blas Lertxun as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Antonio Netels hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Antonio Netels kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Mai Si Liang, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Bredene had won after a very even match.
