In the 12thth minute of the game Axel Davus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Royal Antwerp FC's Bart-Jan Van De Beeck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Axel Davus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Axel Davus sped through Royal Antwerp FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bart-Jan Van De Beeck. In the 20th minute, Shaun McLae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacob de Pelsmaeker charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacob de Pelsmaeker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Jacob de Pelsmaeker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as KFC Paal-Tervant's 林林光 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bart-Jan Van De Beeck. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. When Axel Davus came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the KFC Paal-Tervant fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Davus couldn't finish the play. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Davus's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Axel Davus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Bart-Jan Van De Beeck made a huge save. A hard shot 32 in the game by Axel Davus from a close distance when the talented Bart-Jan Van De Beeck managed to make a qualified save. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Davus's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After 42 played minutes Shaun McLae rounded Royal Antwerp FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Davus was the one to do the kick off. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Davus in the 50th minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's Axel Davus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bart-Jan Van De Beeck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. KFC Paal-Tervant's Freddy Tilens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daan Ooms in the 54th minute of play. Royal Antwerp FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after KFC Paal-Tervant's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Constantijn Ruelens took the corner. The corner led Royal Antwerp FC's Constantijn Ruelens to fire away a dangerous shot which Freddy Tilens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 60th minute, Axel Davus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Freddy Tilens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Rits in the 76th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Denis Conincx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bart-Jan Van De Beeck was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Tom Rits kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Shaun McLae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart-Jan Van De Beeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Axel Davus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Royal Antwerp FC's Bart-Jan Van De Beeck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Koen Bossuyt hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Davus came free, but Bart-Jan Van De Beeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match KFC Paal-Tervant got a corner. Royal Antwerp FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 李卫竞 ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that 李卫竞 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bart-Jan Van De Beeck quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Davus in the 89th minute of the match. There was no doubt that KFC Paal-Tervant were the better team. KFC Paal-Tervant's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
