The Café DE PLOEG players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olavarria FC were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herbert Sempels was the one to do the kick off. Isaias Matas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Carel Van de Schrieck made a huge save. Isaias Matas struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Carel Van de Schrieck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olavarria FC. 60 minutes into the match, Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Matas. With his leg Carel Van de Schrieck managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Olavarria FC's Ervigio Ojeda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carel Van de Schrieck was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Ervigio Ojeda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ervigio Ojeda really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Wollans in the 89th minute of play forced Olavarria FC's goalkeeper Michel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisinho Vidal hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Olavarria FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olavarria FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
