The corner ended in Jendry Sambuaga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Racing Matinette's Casper Jans did a great save. 10 minutes into the match, Café DE PLOEG's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Peruxu came free, but Carel Van de Schrieck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Jans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Sempels, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Café DE PLOEG's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Peruxu came free, but Carel Van de Schrieck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonzo Peruxu took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carel Van de Schrieck. Carel Van de Schrieck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 31st minute Alonzo Peruxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carel Van de Schrieck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Creemers in the 32nd minute of play forced Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Sempels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Jans having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Abel do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Racing Matinette's Qu Hong Liang broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Casper Jans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Sempels, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Racing Matinette made a substitution. Mats Waron replaced Arne Verbruggen. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludwig Kloots stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alonzo Peruxu might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carel Van de Schrieck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alonzo Peruxu ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes into the match, Café DE PLOEG's Herbert Sempels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Jans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carel Van de Schrieck was a little too slow when Alonzo Peruxu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. Herbert Sempels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Casper Jans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Peruxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd match minute, Café DE PLOEG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bóas Goethals to maneuver through the defense. Carel Van de Schrieck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Peruxu's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Alan Creemers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carel Van de Schrieck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Peruxu in the 69th minute of play. Carel Van de Schrieck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Peruxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Jans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Kloots in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Café DE PLOEG's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Peruxu came free, but Carel Van de Schrieck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Café DE PLOEG defense, Alonzo Peruxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carel Van de Schrieck. The Café DE PLOEG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carel Van de Schrieck should have stopped the shot. Alonzo Peruxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Carel Van de Schrieck made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Peruxu in the 83rd minute of play forced Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute of the match, Alonzo Peruxu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carel Van de Schrieck saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marquinhos Munhoz's late challenge caught a Café DE PLOEG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marquinhos Munhoz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Marquinhos Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Matinette's zone, Herbert Sempels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Jans came out of the goal and Herbert Sempels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carel Van de Schrieck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Peruxu in the 94th minute of play. The Racing Matinette players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
