In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moerhuize's goalkeeper Iulian Unciuleanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10thth minute of the game Toon Teunens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moerhuize's Iulian Unciuleanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Toon Teunens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iulian Unciuleanu was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Toon Teunens struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Iulian Unciuleanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The supporters of Ulan Bator Football Club booed when Moerhuize was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thys Raes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toon Teunens made a kick off. Toon Teunens scored 1-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iulian Unciuleanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toon Teunens in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iulian Unciuleanu saved Moerhuize from getting behind. Ball Packert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Bigotte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolf Deferme kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Iulian Unciuleanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toon Teunens in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gandalf Bilbo in the 66th minute of play forced Ulan Bator Football Club's goalkeeper Ball Packert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toon Teunens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iulian Unciuleanu having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toon Teunens in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iulian Unciuleanu saved Moerhuize from getting behind. The corner led Ulan Bator Football Club's Philippe-Arnaud Imbreghts to fire away a dangerous shot which Iulian Unciuleanu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Iulian Unciuleanu came out of the goal and Ndingi Mwana'a Tchokhonelidze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulan Bator Football Club's Ros Vos de Vos was substituted for Toon Teunens. Ros Vos de Vos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Iulian Unciuleanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ball Packert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Bigotte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ros Vos de Vos in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iulian Unciuleanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kieth Hacke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Iulian Unciuleanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Gandalf Bilbo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moerhuize fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ulan Bator Football Club's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Moerhuize had won, even though Ulan Bator Football Club had held more of the ball.
