Laurens Gijselinghs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laurens Gijselinghs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Olsson in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, VC zoetwater's İbrahim Efe Akarsu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laurens Gijselinghs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 23 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ron Keldermans. Laurens Gijselinghs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Efe Akarsu in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Bernardo Sharkin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VC zoetwater fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 34 minutes into the match, real dixmuda's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Efe Akarsu came free, but Laurens Gijselinghs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurens Gijselinghs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Efe Akarsu in the 34th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Bernardo Sharkin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laurens Gijselinghs was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Bernardo Sharkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. VC zoetwater's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Sharkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurens Gijselinghs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the match, real dixmuda's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Sharkin came free, but Laurens Gijselinghs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

After 54 minutes real dixmuda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gusztáv Bács who took care of the corner kick. The corner led VC zoetwater's Jan Persson to a score. 0-6 in the 54th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Eddy Verhagen put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, real dixmuda's Eddy Verhagen got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Robert Wells came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the VC zoetwater fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Wells couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Ron Keldermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, VC zoetwater's Laurens Gijselinghs threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jan Persson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Persson in the 67th minute of play forced real dixmuda's goalkeeper Laurens Gijselinghs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute of the match VC zoetwater got a corner. real dixmuda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gusztáv Bács ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led VC zoetwater's Gusztáv Bács to fire away a dangerous shot which Laurens Gijselinghs despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 73 minutes of play, VC zoetwater's İbrahim Efe Akarsu made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 80th play minutes Jan Persson shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Laurens Gijselinghs and just under the crossbar into goal. Jan Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurens Gijselinghs came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by VC zoetwater's İbrahim Efe Akarsu. But to his dismay, İbrahim Efe Akarsu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. When Armand Helssen fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored real dixmuda's protests and gave Armand Helssen a yellow card for diving instead. Armand Helssen hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Jan Persson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Laurens Gijselinghs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Efe Akarsu in the 90th minute of play. Laurens Gijselinghs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabien Pardons in the 92nd minute of play. İbrahim Efe Akarsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Laurens Gijselinghs made a huge save. 96 minutes into the match, real dixmuda's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Persson came free, but Laurens Gijselinghs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurens Gijselinghs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Pardons, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopold Van der Sande during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 97 played minutes real dixmuda got a freekick which was hit by Leopold Van der Sande. When the match was over VC zoetwater could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than real dixmuda throughout the match.
